Example Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading Social Housing services provider to manage domestic gas contracts across Southeast London. This is a senior operational and commercial role, responsible for overseeing multiple service divisions including Gas, Water Hygiene, Electrical, and District Heating with full accountability for contract performance, compliance, financial control, and client relationships. This is a strategic leadership role, not a hands-on supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of domestic gas contracts and associated service divisions
- Oversight of Gas, Water Hygiene, Electrical, and District Heating operations
- Delivery of CP12 landlord gas safety programmes, servicing & installations
- Management of budgets, KPIs, SLAs, schedules of rates, WIP & variations
- Senior leadership of Supervisors, Engineers & Installers
- Governance of Health & Safety and Gas Safety Regulations
- Quality assurance audits and compliance reporting
- Client relationship management and attendance at review meetings
- Management of escalations, complaints & performance issues
- Workforce onboarding, competency management & continuous improvement
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years gas industry experience (Social Housing preferred)
- Proven Contracts Manager / Senior Operations experience
- Strong knowledge of domestic gas servicing, compliance & installations
- Experience overseeing multi-service divisions (Gas, Water Hygiene, Electrical, District Heating)
- Current ACS qualifications
- Commercially aware with strong reporting skills
- Excellent leadership & stakeholder management
- Full UK driving licence
