We are seeking an experienced roofing subcontractor team (ideally a 3-man gang) for ongoing commercial solar installation works on an active hospital site.
Scope of works:
- Standing seam metal roof solar installations
- Installation of K2 mounting systems
- Bracketing, rail installation, and solar panel fitting
- Solar PV panel installation across multiple roof types
- Tiled pitched roof solar installs (pre-hooked systems)
- Remaining flat roof solar installations
- Working safely on a live, operational commercial site
Required experience:
- Proven background in solar PV roofing installation
- Experience with standing seam roofing systems
- Familiarity with K2 or similar mounting systems
- Commercial roofing or solar installation experience
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a subcontract gang
- CSCS and working at height certification preferred
Important: This role is focused on mechanical installation only (roofing and panel mounting). Electrical wiring and commissioning are not required.
Pay: £21.88 per panel installed
