Our client, a well-established Legionella and Asbestos consultancy, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Consultant / Plumber to join their growing team. The client is ideally seeking someone based in the South of England, although applicants from other locations will also be considered.

This is a varied field-based role working across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites, supporting clients with water hygiene, plumbing, and Legionella compliance services.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of water hygiene and plumbing duties, ensuring client systems remain compliant with current health and safety regulations. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Legionella monitoring and compliance tasks
  • Temperature monitoring and water sampling
  • TMV servicing and maintenance
  • Showerhead cleans and disinfections
  • Closed system checks
  • Basic plumbing and remedial works
  • Tank inspections and cleans
  • Producing accurate reports and maintaining service records
  • Advising clients on compliance and remedial actions where required

Candidate Requirements

The client is looking for someone with previous experience within the Legionella, water hygiene, or plumbing industry. Candidates should be professional, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently across multiple client sites.

Ideal experience includes:

  • Previous Legionella/water hygiene experience
  • Plumbing experience or relevant qualifications
  • Good understanding of ACOP L8 guidelines
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
