Example Recruitment Group are working with a leading specialist within the water hygiene and engineering sector who are looking to recruit an experienced Pump & Controls Engineer to join their growing team. This is a mobile role covering Oxford and surrounding areas, offering a varied workload across commercial, healthcare, retail and industrial sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of pump systems and associated control equipment.

The Role

  • Maintenance, servicing and repair of pump systems and booster sets
  • Fault finding on inverters, control systems and electrical equipment
  • Installation and commissioning of pumps and associated controls
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and water hygiene standards
  • Completing digital reports and service documentation
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service whilst on-site

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working on pump systems and booster sets
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working in a field-based engineering role
  • Good understanding of control systems and electrical components
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working with VSDs (Variable Speed Drives)
  • Experience with control panels
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Confined Space Training
