A well-established property maintenance contractor is looking to recruit several experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join a busy responsive repairs team covering Peterborough, Cambridge and the wider East Anglia region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering repairs and maintenance to occupied residential properties. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card and all the support needed to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its people.

The Role

  • Working within occupied homes, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.

Duties Include:

  • Carrying out plastering repairs to a high standard.
  • Completing general plumbing repairs and minor installations.
  • Undertaking basic carpentry and joinery repairs.
  • Completing a variety of reactive maintenance works.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Using a PDA to receive, manage and complete daily jobs.
  • Delivering excellent customer service in occupied properties.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent experience.
  • Multi-skilled with experience in plastering and either plumbing or carpentry.
  • Experience working within social housing or occupied properties.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Experience using PDA or mobile job management systems.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • Asbestos Awareness certificate.
  • CSCS card desirable.
  • DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
