Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the creation of project cost benchmarks and budget frameworks during project inception and feasibility stages.
- Review and challenge cost submissions from project teams and contractors to ensure consistency, accuracy, and value for money.
- Gather and maintain historical project cost information in a structured format to support future forecasting and analysis activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of estimating tools, databases, and cost models.

Decision‑Making and Accountability
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently on day‑to‑day estimating activities, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement. Liaise with Build and maintain productive working relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of estimating outputs. Represent the business professionally when interacting with external organisations and third‑party stakeholders. Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider business, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
