Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified commercial heating engineer to cover the East Anglia area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.

The Role:

  • Servicing commercial heating systems.
  • Fault finding and repairs on commercial heating systems.
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.

Experience required:

  • Experience as a qualified commercial gas/heating engineer.
  • Experience in servicing commercial boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Commercial ACS qualifications incl. COCN1.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment).

The Package:

  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate.
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: 46,500 per annum (DOE).
  • Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer.
  • Monthly bonus.
  • OTE 55,000.
