Location: North London & Home Counties

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (dependent on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:30, 30 min lunch)

We are currently seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operatives (Fabric Maintenance) to join our team working primarily across North London, with occasional travel across the Home Counties to support sickness and holiday cover. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled trades professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality planned and reactive building maintenance across a varied property portfolio.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of internal and external building fabric maintenance works, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard and reactive issues are resolved efficiently. Typical duties will include:

  • Carpentry and joinery, including door hanging (including fire doors)
  • Kitchen and bathroom installations
  • Wet room works including shower trays and flooring
  • Plastering and dry lining
  • Installation and repair of partition walls
  • General building repairs and maintenance
  • Toilet installation and replacement
  • Basic drainage and groundwork tasks
  • Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs

About You

We are looking for experienced operatives with a strong background in at least one core trade (e.g. carpentry or plumbing) and the ability to work confidently across multiple disciplines.

Essential requirements:

  • Formal trade qualification or equivalent training in a relevant discipline
  • Strong experience in building/fabric maintenance and repairs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable experience:

  • PASMA qualified
  • IPAF qualified
  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience
