The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across a diverse portfolio of properties while providing expert advice to clients and ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation.
The Role
Our client is seeking a qualified Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor to support the increasing demand for professional Fire Risk Assessments across the UK.
The role involves conducting assessments across a variety of complex building types including healthcare, manufacturing, education, commercial premises, hospitality, retail and private healthcare facilities.
You will be responsible for identifying fire risks, producing detailed reports and providing practical, prioritised recommendations to help clients remain compliant with UK fire safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PAS 79 compliant Fire Risk Assessments across a wide range of building types.
- Assess the suitability of existing fire safety measures and fire management procedures.
- Produce clear, accurate and professional Fire Risk Assessment reports.
- Provide practical, prioritised recommendations based on the level of risk identified.
- Advise Responsible Persons, property managers and building owners on fire safety compliance.
- Support clients in understanding their legal responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships while delivering an excellent level of customer service.
Requirements
- Recognised Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across multiple building types.
- Membership of a recognised fire safety professional body.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
- Professional, organised and customer-focused approach.
