Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. This vacancy is for a qualified domestic heating engineer covering the West London area, carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Role

  • Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
  • Experience servicing boilers and gas appliances with strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills
  • ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Package

  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE & qualifications)
  • Out of Hours call-out on rota basis, paid either per job or hourly decided by engineer
  • Monthly bonus
  • OTE £60,000+ per annum
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holiday (entitlement increases with service)
