Example Recruitment Group Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading national compliance and energy services provider for an experienced HIU Engineer to join their growing team working across South West London. Our client operates within the social housing sector, delivering high-quality heating and energy services across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables and electrical services. They are a well-established contractor with long-term contracts in place, offering strong job security and career progression opportunities.
The Role
As an HIU Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, repair and fault finding of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) across residential properties within the social housing sector. You will be working in occupied properties, therefore excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- HIU commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing system faults efficiently
- Producing accurate site reports using a PDA system
- Delivering a professional and courteous service to clients and residents
- Participating in manufacturer and internal training programmes
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Occasional travel or short periods working away when required
Salary & Benefits
