The role:

As a Legionella Risk Assessor, youll be responsible for carrying out site surveys, producing detailed risk assessments, and making clear, practical recommendations to ensure clients remain fully compliant with ACOP L8, HSG274 and HTM04-01 guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Legionella risk assessments across a wide range of client sites

  • Producing professional reports with clear remedial recommendations

  • Completing asset registers and schematic drawings

  • Advising clients on compliance strategies and improvements

  • Liaising directly with site managers, estates teams, and FM providers

  • Supporting with audits and ensuring work meets UKAS and ISO standards

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor

  • Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 and relevant water hygiene legislation

  • Competent in producing technical reports and schematics

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • IOSH or equivalent H&S training desirable

  • Full UK Driving Licence
