They are seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected company committed to quality and professional development. About the Role The successful candidate will conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines at various client sites across the South East of England, Greater London, and the Midlands. You will play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with water systems, contributing to the health and safety of client facilities. Qualifications & Experience * A minimum of 2 years' experience conducting ACOP L8 Legionella Risk Assessments, preferably within a Legionella consultancy environment. * Candidates with over 5 years' experience and expertise in high-risk water systems are highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, relevant water regulations, and associated guidelines. * Recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds, BOHS, or WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment. * Comprehensive understanding of ACOP L8, HTM 04-01, and BS 8580-1:2019. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with excellent report-writing skills. * Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. * Possession of a full, clean UK driving license. Key Responsibilities * Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in compliance with COSHH Regulations, ACOP L8, HTM 04-01, and BS 8580-1:2019. * Producing schematic drawings and validating final reports for clients. * Providing actionable recommendations to eliminate, reduce, and manage Legionella risk. * Preparing comprehensive reports and attending client meetings to present findings and discuss recommendations.
