A well-established electrical services provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing & Remedial Works Engineer (Subbie) to deliver high-quality work across South London / Southwest London / West London. Projects primarily include social housing, local authorities, and domestic/commercial properties.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct EICRs (Fixed Wiring Testing) and carry out associated remedial works
- Identify, diagnose, and report electrical faults accurately
- Complete job notes, photos, and certificates using electronic systems
- Send Before & After photos of remedial works to qualify for payment
- Comply with Health & Safety and company policies
- Represent the company professionally on site
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver excellent service
Subcontractor Requirements
- Own plain van, tools, tester, PPE, and UTR number
- Fully qualified Electrician: 18th Edition, L3 Diploma, C&G 2391-51
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Uniformed on site and professional conduct expected

- Company supplies all materials; SOR rates cover labour only
- CCU changes must be quoted and agreed by the client – removed from SOR rates
- Smoke and heat detectors replaced only if expiry exceeds next test date
- Parking reimbursed via timesheet if no permit
