We’re seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Engineer to join a respected electrical services provider delivering high-quality fire alarm and AOV solutions across Barnet and North London.
Work on domestic and commercial projects, including social housing and local authority properties, with excellent career progression and benefits.
- What You’ll Do
- Install, service, maintain, repair, and upgrade fire alarm & AOV systems.
- Complete full system installations and upgrades to the highest standard.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance.
- Work confidently with a variety of fire alarm control panels, including closed protocol systems.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations.
- Complete reports, certifications, and digital job documentation.
- Work safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues, office staff, and supervisors.
- What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
- FIA training & AO Level 3 in Fire Detection and Alarm Design Theory.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire safety industry.
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months).
- Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused mindset.
