We are urgently recruiting an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative for a busy social housing repairs and maintenance contract. This is a mobile role covering domestic properties, voids, and occupied housing, delivering reactive plumbing repairs, planned maintenance, and multi-trade works.
Key Duties
- Plumbing repairs: leaks, pipework, drainage, bathrooms, kitchens
- Hot & cold-water systems, cylinders, immersion heaters
- Multi-trade repairs: tiling, carpentry, plastering, decorating
- Social housing reactive maintenance & void works
- First-time fix focus across occupied properties
- PDA/mobile job updates and reporting
- Compliance with health & safety / RAMS
- Customer-facing repairs in tenants’ homes
- Emergency and out-of-hours callouts
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Plumbing
- Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Multi-trade experience (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools
- Social housing / housing repairs experience preferred
