The Opportunity

Our Client is a well-established asbestos consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across a range of high-profile contracts. Due to continued growth and recent contract wins, they are looking to recruit Asbestos Surveyors to join their team.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering professional asbestos surveying services, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and full compliance with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out asbestos surveys across a range of site types
  • Produce accurate survey reports, site plans, and sampling data
  • Undertake asbestos inspection and testing activities in line with regulations
  • Ensure compliance with UKAS-accredited systems, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients
  • Work safely and in line with health & safety requirements
  • Support additional tasks as required by management

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience carrying out asbestos surveys across various sites
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and guidance
  • BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

Desirable:

  • BOHS W504 (S301) / CoCA
  • Experience using handheld devices / PDAs for reporting
  • Broader knowledge of asbestos testing and compliance strategies
