Example Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a market-leading compliance and energy services across the UK, with over 3,200 employees working from over 20 offices. They deliver heating services within the social housing sector across the South-East of England. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

Geographical areas: TQ/ EX - Service & Repair Engineer (you will be given work closest to where you live)

Salary: £42,000-£45,000 basic plus call-out & overtime

Standard hours of work: 42.5-hour week working 8am-5pm

Door to door paid time and a half

Call-out 1 in 4 £175 per week standby money

Overtime paid at time and a half and got loads available

Working on Social Housing & Local Authority contracts conducting all breakdown jobs, diagnosing, fault finding, repairs, maintenance and servicing/LGSR`s.

Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team in Swindon; the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out day-to-day repairs
  • Fault finding
  • Completing annual servicing visits
  • Meeting first-time fix targets
  • Maintaining high-quality standards
  • Focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Attending jobs on time, notifying the contact centre/customer of any delays

The successful candidate will have:

  • Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)
  • Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer service
  • The ability to work with a diverse customer base
