Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operatingwithin the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Norwich & Bury St Edmunds area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.
The Role:
- Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
- Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
- Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
- Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
- Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
- ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
The Package:
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at hourly rate
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
- Salary: £41,000 – £48,000 per annum (DOE)
- Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
- Monthly bonus
