Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the LD postcode area carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Duties:

  • Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
  • In-date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Salary & Package:

  • 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Additional overtime and weekend work available
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: 38,000 – 40,000 per annum
  • Monthly bonus
  • Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4
  • OTE 45,000+ per annum
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension Scheme
