Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the LD postcode area carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.
Duties:
- Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
- Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
- Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.
- Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements:
- Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
- In-date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Salary & Package:
- 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Additional overtime and weekend work available
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
- Salary: 38,000 – 40,000 per annum
- Monthly bonus
- Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4
- OTE 45,000+ per annum
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension Scheme
