Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing contract with a local housing association.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Leicester
  • Contract: Housing Association
  • Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs
  • Commitment: Minimum 3 days per week
  • Contract Length: Ongoing
  • Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.

Rates:

  • £23.48 per Landlord Gas Safety Record
  • £30.44 per repair (parts provided)
  • Plus winter incentive of £40.00 per day if engineer commits to 5 days per week (additional £200.00 per week) effective until end of February 2026

Requirements:

  • 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  • ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  • Side Van (plain or sign written)
  • Gas Safe Registration
  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
  • £2m Public Liability Insurance
  • No unspent criminal convictions
