Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer
Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well‐established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the East London area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years\’ experience with gas qualifications
Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault‐finding, diagnostic and repair skills
In‐date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
Full UK driving licence
No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)
Salary & Benefits
42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates
Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 per year after probation
Out‐of‐hours call‐out rota (1 week in 4)
OTE £50,000+ per annum
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
