Job Description
Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operatingwithin the privatesector.
They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing installation contract in theAberdeen area.
All installs are pre-surveyed and booked via an online diary system a minimum of one week in advance.
Contract Details:
Location:Aberdeen
Work Type:Central heating installs including swaps, upgrades, and conversions.
Commitment:Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends at enhanced rates
Contract Length:Ongoing (no end date)
Payment terms:Weekly one week in arrears.
Rates:
- Combi swap: £371.17 core rate plus extras. Average £400.00 – £450.00
- Conventional swap: £392.25 core rate plus extras. Average £4500 – £500.00
- Conventional to Combi Conversion: £570.50 core rate plus extras. Average £650.00 – £700.00
*all extras such as pipework, radiators, TRVs, flues etc are paid in addition to the core job price. A full rate card containing a full schedule of rates can be provided

Requirements:
- 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
- ACS Qualifications
- Gas Safe Registered
- Panelled van (plain or sign written)
- Powerflush machine & relevant hand tools
- Access ladders to reach gutter level, an A-frame, and hop up that conforms to BS EN 131 standards.
