Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer Location: Milton Keynes Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) * Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems * Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care * Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records Requirements: * A minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications * Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills * In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1 * Full UK driving licence * No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment) Salary & Benefits: * 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) * Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates * Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided * Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 per year after probation * Out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4) * OTE £50,000+ per annum * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension scheme To apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV, and one of our team members will be in touch.
