An established maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Wet Trade Multi-Skilled Operative to join its team delivering repairs and maintenance to residential properties across Essex. This is a varied role suited to someone with a strong background in plastering who is also confident carrying out a range of additional trade tasks. Working in occupied homes, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service.
Main Duties
- Complete plastering works including skimming, patch repairs, rendering, screeding and general making good.
- Undertake a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including:
- Basic carpentry
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Wall and floor tiling
- Internal painting and decorating
- Carry out repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Update job information electronically using a handheld device.
- Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and in line with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Liaise professionally with residents and colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience.
