The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established and rapidly growing compliance and safety services business that is looking to appoint an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join their expanding team. The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plumbing and water hygiene related duties, including:

  • Temperature monitoring
  • Descaling outlets and cylinders
  • Servicing filters, UV systems and water softeners
  • Cold water tank and cylinder inspections
  • TMV servicing and maintenance
  • Removal of dead legs and flexible hoses
  • Installation of valves and general plumbing works
  • Installation and servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
  • 2nd fix plumbing and unvented systems (G3 dependant)
  • Tank refurbishments and system conversions to mains water
  • Cleaning and disinfection of water systems
  • Legionella monitoring, sampling and basic risk assessments
  • PAT testing (training provided if required)

There are also strong opportunities to cross-train into other compliance disciplines including water, fire, asbestos, electrical and health & safety.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, organised and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload
  • Detail-focused with a professional approach
  • Happy with travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Keen to learn and progress long term

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (minimum 3 years)
  • Plumbing Level 2 qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ plumbing experience
  • Right to work in the UK
