We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wet Trade Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy property maintenance team delivering reactive repairs, planned maintenance and disrepair works across residential properties in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for ongoing temporary work with competitive hourly rates, a company van and fuel card provided.

The Role

Working within occupied and void properties, you'll carry out a variety of repairs, leading with your core wet trade skills while supporting other maintenance works to deliver a high-quality first-time fix. Duties include:

  • Plastering, patch repairs, rendering and making good.
  • Wall and floor tiling.
  • Basic carpentry including skirting, doors and minor repairs.
  • Painting and decorating to a high standard.
  • Completing work using a mobile device to update job progress.
  • Working safely and following all health and safety procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plastering (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience in plastering and wet trades.
  • Experience across multiple trades including carpentry, decorating and tiling.
  • Previous experience within social housing repairs and maintenance is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Own hand tools.
