We are seeking a skilled District Heating Engineer to join our team, working on communal heating systems, hot water networks, and HIUs in occupied domestic dwellings.
Salary & Benefits
- £40,300 per annum + call-out & overtime
- Van & fuel card provided
- Location: Tower Hamlets
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm (42.5 hours)
- Call-out and overtime available at single-time rates
- Standby pay: £120 (Mon-Fri), £180 (Sat-Sun)
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays

What You’ll Do
- Work on HIUs Y & S plan systems, and communal boiler rooms
- Use freeze kits, drain down blocks, fit radiators, isolation valves, 2-port valves, lock shields, TRVs, and unblock pipework
- Perform electrical fault-finding on HIUs and pump systems
- Carry out soldering, barrel work, and cylinder/plantroom maintenance
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HIUs and communal heating systems
- Experienced with 2/3/4 pump systems
- Competent in electrical fault-finding, soldering, and pipework repairs
- Able to work safely in occupied dwellings
