Example Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing facilities management business for a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover Essex, ideally based around the Chelmsford or Southend-on-Sea areas.

You'll be joining an expanding team that takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will predominantly carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs across a range of commercial sites including schools, care homes and government buildings.
Whilst the role is primarily maintenance focused, there will be occasional installation work.
- Salary & Benefits
- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- No on-call rota or out-of-hours working
- Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial gas systems.
- Carrying out gas safety inspections and fault finding.
- Diagnosing and repairing heating and hot water systems.
- Maintaining LPG systems where required.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance across commercial properties.
- Undertaking occasional installation works.
- Delivering excellent customer service whilst working independently on site.
Requirements
- Commercial Gas qualifications (essential).
- Experience carrying out service, maintenance and repair works.
- LPG experience would be advantageous.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel
