Example Recruitment Group is delighted to be working on behalf of an established and rapidly growing Water Treatment specialist that is looking to recruit experienced Water Treatment Engineers to support its continued expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in pre-commission cleaning, flushing and chemical treatment of closed water systems who wants to join a company offering varied projects, regular overtime and continued professional development. The majority of projects will be across London and the surrounding counties, although some nationwide travel will also be required.

The Role

As a Water Treatment Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of specialist water treatment and pre-commissioning services, including:

  • Pre-commission cleaning and flushing of closed water systems in accordance with BSRIA guidelines
  • Chemical cleaning and treatment of closed systems
  • Chemical dosing of heating and chilled water systems
  • Closed-system water analysis and sampling
  • Monitoring chemical levels and system condition
  • Tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Disinfection of domestic hot and cold-water systems
  • Domestic water sampling
  • Completing accurate site reports and compliance documentation
  • Identifying system issues and reporting remedial requirements
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, site teams and management

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced Water Treatment Engineers, Pre-Commissioning Engineers, Flushing Engineers or Commissioning Engineers who have a strong understanding of closed water systems. The successful candidate should have:

  • Previous experience with pre-commission chemical cleaning of closed systems
  • Good working knowledge of BSRIA guidelines
  • Experience with flushing, chemical dosing, sampling and closed-system analysis
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial closed water systems
  • Understanding of domestic water systems and associated regulations
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • A professional approach when working on client sites
  • Flexibility to travel throughout London, surrounding counties and occasionally nationwide
  • A full UK Driving Licence

Experience using tablets/iPads for electronic reporting would be advantageous, although training on the company's systems will be provided.
