Multi Trader – Social Housing Repairs Medway, Kent £40,300 per annum + Van & Fuel Card 8:00am – 5:30pm 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays We are looking for an experienced Multi Trader to work on an established social housing contract covering the Medway area. You will be working across occupied domestic properties, completing a variety of repairs and maintenance works. The role offers plenty of variety, with smaller day-to-day repairs as well as larger jobs that may take longer to complete. The Role Typical works will include: * Installing Aqua Panels and shower surrounds around baths * Replacing and fitting taps and shower heads * Fitting electric showers * Fitting and adjusting doors and hinges * Altering doors to open inwards or outwards * Installing and repairing stair rails * Balustrade repairs and installation * Fitting mopstick handrails * General carpentry works * Basic plumbing works * General multi-trade repairs and maintenance Daily Workload The number of jobs will vary from day to day depending on the type and size of the work required. For smaller repair jobs, you could attend up to 6–8 properties per day, while larger works will involve fewer appointments. You will be provided with a Samsung Galaxy/PDA, with jobs managed through one straightforward app. This will be used to receive jobs, upload photographs and complete a report once the work is finished. Package * £40,300 per annum * Van provided * Fuel card provided * 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays * Working hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm * Samsung Galaxy/PDA provided * Ongoing work across Medway * Established social housing contract Requirements You will need: * Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Multi Trade Operative * Previous domestic maintenance experience * Social housing experience would be highly advantageous * Good all-round carpentry and basic plumbing skills * Experience working within occupied properties * Good customer service and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload * Clean DBS * Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points This position would suit an experienced Multi Trader, Carpenter Multi, Maintenance Operative, Repairs Operative or Social Housing Multi Trader looking for consistent work across the Medway area.
