Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified renewables engineer to cover the West Midlands area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on renewable heating systems in domestic social housing properties.

The Role:

  • Maintenance and Repair of Renewable Central Heating Systems
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience as a qualified renewables engineer
  • Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal.
  • ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 (Desirable not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: £42,500 - £44,000 per annum
  • Monthly bonus
  • OTE £50,000+ per annum
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holiday (holiday entitlement increases with service)
