About the Role
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical works across residential homes, including inspections, testing, fault finding, repairs, and planned maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Carrying out remedial works following inspections
- Undertaking reactive and planned electrical maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Working closely with other trades, supervisors, and support staff
- Delivering excellent customer service to residents and tenants
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- AM2 certification
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent inspection and testing qualification)
- Previous experience within domestic or residential maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
The role includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota, as emergency maintenance support may occasionally be required.
