RAC Engineer (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)

We're recruiting for an experienced RAC Engineer to join a well-established and growing team covering Reading and surrounding areas. If you're skilled in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position with a strong package and low call-out commitment.
The Role
As a RAC Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive repairs and breakdown attendance
- Fault finding and diagnostics on commercial RAC systems
- Component and parts replacement
- Brazing and pipework repairs
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Delivering excellent customer service across commercial sites
This role is primarily based across Reading, with only occasional travel further afield when required.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (minimum)
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Installation, Service & Repair Qualification
- Proven experience working on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3
- IPAF
- PASMA
