About Examberry
Examberry is a premium tuition provider built on a simple belief: every student deserves expert teaching, data-driven progress, and an experience that inspires confidence. We work with high-achieving families who expect excellence — and we deliver it. Our tutors are among the best in their fields, and our methods are grounded in evidence, not guesswork.
The Role
We're looking for an exceptional Tuition Manager to lead our tutor network across multiple centres. This is a senior operational role for someone who understands that outstanding education is also a business. You will own the performance of our tutors, the satisfaction of our parent clients, and the integrity of the Examberry brand — not in one location, but across the board.
What You'll Do
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, challenge, and hold accountable a team of experienced tutors across multiple centres — managing them as a high-performing professional workforce, not just a group of teachers. Be the senior point of escalation for staffing issues, performance concerns, and sensitive parent situations. Instil Examberry values across all staff, ensuring a consistently premium experience at every centre.
- Commercial & Client Relations: Manage parent expectations with polish and authority — building trust with families who demand the best. Monitor tutor and student retention across centres, identifying risks early and acting on them. Represent the Examberry brand with confidence: you are the expert, the reassurer, and the results-bearer.
- Performance Management & Recruitment: Conduct structured observations focused on results, student engagement, and adherence to the Examberry method. Lead tutor recruitment with a sharp eye for culture fit, reliability, and teaching ability. Hold all staff to rigorous standards of punctuality, professional conduct, and administrative accuracy.
- Data & Results: Analyse results and student progress data across your tutor network to identify trends and underperformance. Direct resources and focus to address weaknesses at scale. Present clear, data-backed performance updates to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Management, recruitment, professional services, or private education — we care more about how you lead people than the industry you come from.
- Education: Degree educated preferred; management qualifications are a welcome bonus.
- Skills: Strong people management, confident with data (Excel/CRM), and an excellent communicator.
- Disposition: Assertive, analytical, and organised. You need the gravitas to command respect from experienced educators and the warmth to build trust with demanding parents.
Why Join Examberry?
- Real authority across a growing tutor network
- Data-rich culture — decisions are made on evidence, not instinct
- Premium brand environment with high standards and high reward
- Direct line to leadership with genuine scope to shape how we grow
- £40,000 – £47,000 per annum
