GCSE and A Level Content Creator Position Overview We’re seeking experienced, subject-specialist freelance Content Creators to develop high-quality educational materials for GCSE and A Level students. Ideal candidates will combine subject matter expertise with creative content development skills to produce engaging learning resources that align with current examination board specifications. Subjects Sought English Maths History Business Studies Economics Geography Computer Science French Key Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive learning materials across multiple subjects for GCSE and A Level curricula Create varied content formats including study guides, practice questions, mock exam papers, practice papers, revision materials and interactive learning resources Ensure all content aligns with the latest specifications from major examination boards (eg AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IGCSE etc) Stay current with curriculum changes and examination trends to update content accordingly Write clear, engaging explanations of complex topics suitable for the target age groups Write model answers Create supporting visual content including diagrams, charts and illustrations where appropriate Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching or content creation for GCSE and/or A Level subjects Deep understanding of UK secondary education system and examination requirements Proven track record of creating successful educational content Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy standards Essential Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and content creation tools Experience with digital learning platforms and educational technology Strong research and fact-checking abilities Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Creative problem-solving skills Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way Desirable Skills Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) Experience marking GCSE or A Level examinations Familiarity with multiple examination boards Knowledge of educational psychology and learning theories Experience with multimedia content creation Understanding of accessibility requirements in educational materials Key Competencies Outstanding written and verbal communication Strong organisational skills Attention to detail Team collaboration Adaptability and flexibility Project management Subject matter expertise To apply, please submit your CV, cover letter, and portfolio of relevant educational content samples.
