My client, a Global retail organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Solution Design and Configuration lead to deliver a large WMS implementation across the North America region.
The Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) Solution & Configuration Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, optimisation, and support of Global Warehouse Management System solutions across distribution, logistics, and fulfilment operations.
This role acts as the key bridge between business stakeholders, warehouse operations, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure that WMS solutions are aligned with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will own the Manhattan WMS configuration roadmap, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide leadership throughout the solution life cycle from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years experience working with Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems.
- Proven experience leading Manhattan WMS implementations and upgrades.
- Strong configuration experience within Manhattan WMS platforms
- Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and producing functional specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of integration concepts including ERP, TMS, automation systems, and Middleware.
- Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
Desirable
- Experience with warehouse automation technologies.
- SQL and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of APIs and integration platforms.
- Experience operating in multi-site or global warehouse environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based WMS solutions.
