We are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL and DBA Support Specialist to support a large Oracle database environment. The role will involve supporting PL/SQL modules, resolving production incidents, monitoring databases, assisting with releases and deployments, performance tuning and working with customer teams to resolve issues within SLA deadlines.
Key skills required:
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
- Experience writing and supporting PL/SQL packages
- Oracle 10g or later, ideally Oracle 11g
- Unix or Linux exposure
- Basic Oracle DBA knowledge
- Production support or application support experience
- Good communication skills
Useful experience:
- SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning
- Oracle Partitioning
- RAC, RMAN or Data Guard
- ITIL or Remedy experience
