We are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL and DBA Support Specialist to support a large Oracle database environment. The role will involve supporting PL/SQL modules, resolving production incidents, monitoring databases, assisting with releases and deployments, performance tuning and working with customer teams to resolve issues within SLA deadlines.

Key skills required:

  • Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
  • Experience writing and supporting PL/SQL packages
  • Oracle 10g or later, ideally Oracle 11g
  • Unix or Linux exposure
  • Basic Oracle DBA knowledge
  • Production support or application support experience
  • Good communication skills

Useful experience:

  • SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning
  • Oracle Partitioning
  • RAC, RMAN or Data Guard
  • ITIL or Remedy experience

Candidates must hold active SC Clearance and NPPV3 and meet the requirements for the role.
