My client who are a Global Supply Chain organisation are looking to recruit an experienced WMS Consultant to work on exciting Manhattan Active WMS projects.
Key experience required:
Troubleshooting WMS related incidents.
Translation of business process owners' requirements into functional and technical WMS designs in line with European guidelines.
Configuration of the warehouse management systems.
Liaising with WMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements.
Test functional enhancements or configuration changes.
Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing.
Creating reports based on WMS data.
Suggesting/recommending WMS improvements and innovation.
Being a part of a rotation system for on call support outside of working hours.
Technical documentation and knowledge base documents.
Documenting business requirements
Practical experience warehouse management systems.
Required skill set:
Profound knowledge of warehouse processes.
Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
Understanding about EDI and interfaces.
Good WMS knowledge.
Reporting, preference SSRS.
Strong analytical skills.
