Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Security Architect, this is outside IR35 paying £675 per day, initially 5 weeks doing a software supply chain review. Must be willing to go to London 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week.

Skills required for the role:

  • Software supply chain security: Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools (e.g. Sonatype IQ), Software Bill of Materials, dependency risk management, artifact governance
  • Platform engineering: repo design, artifact repositories, versioning strategies for Python, R and SAS
  • DevSecOps & CI/CD: pipeline design (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), integrating security gates
  • Cloud & infra: on-prem, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), hybrid architectures, SaaS evaluation
  • Security architecture: threat modelling, policy design, compliance (e.g. banking controls)
  • Programming ecosystem knowledge: Python/R packaging (pip, conda, CRAN), dependency management
  • Delivery: solution design, build, test/UAT, production handover
