React native developer (IOS and Android) - £425 outside IR35 - 100% remote - 3 months initially Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract React Native Developer this is initially 3 months but likely to extend due to workload, outside IR35 paying £425 per day and 100% remote Essential Skills and Experience mobile development experience, with React Native. Hands-on experience building and shipping apps with Expo. Strong TypeScript skills, including typing data models, API contracts, and application state. Proven experience building offline-capable or offline-first mobile apps, with examples you can talk through in detail. Experience with on-device databases and storage such as expo-sqlite, WatermelonDB, Realm, or MMKV. Experience implementing request queuing, retry logic, and background or reconnect-triggered sync. Understanding of data sync challenges, including conflict resolution strategies, idempotent requests, and data consistency. Experience with data-fetching and state tools (e.g. TanStack Query with persistence, Redux Toolkit, Zustand). Experience publishing apps to both the App Store and Google Play.
