Working with a leading digital first organisation we are looking for a Lead QA and Test Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of B2C E-commerce applications through robust testing strategies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline regression testing and accelerate release cycles.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium.
  • Conduct API testing for custom CRM/ERP applications and third-party integrations (payment gateways, analytics, digital marketing platforms).
  • Work closely with developers, UX designers, and digital teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps engineers.
  • Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter to ensure application stability under load.

What We're Looking For:

  • Considerable experience in testing roles, including leading/managing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, JUnit, BrowserStack, SonarQube, and API testing tools (Postman, cURL).
  • Strong coding skills in Java, C#, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium).
  • Knowledge of secure web and API development best practices (OWASP) and authentication protocols.

Desirable:

  • Experience in digital marketing, digital merchandising, and payment service provider integration (Cybersource).
  • Knowledge of mobile app testing (Cordova, Ionic).
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
