We are recruiting an experienced IT-focused Business Analyst to join a well-established organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting the delivery of business-critical systems and transformation initiatives. This role is heavily delivery-oriented, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end system implementation (eg HR, ERP, Finance platforms). You will play a key role in shaping solutions, working closely with third-party suppliers, and ensuring successful implementation from requirements through to delivery. Operating within a Matrix environment, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to ensure solutions are aligned, scalable and deliver real business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements across multiple initiatives
- Lead and support end-to-end system implementations (HR, ERP, Finance and similar platforms)
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external suppliers/vendors
- Design and produce RFPs (Request for Proposals), supporting vendor selection processes
- Collaborate with suppliers to shape and refine solution design and delivery approaches
- Translate business needs into clear, structured technical requirements and solution deliverables
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and process walkthroughs
- Manage multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and priorities
- Provide clear updates on progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
- Validate change requests to ensure alignment with business value and strategic objectives
Required Experience
- Proven commercial experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Strong track record of delivering end-to-end system implementations (eg HR, ERP, Finance systems)
- Experience working directly with third-party suppliers and vendors to deliver solutions
- Experience designing and managing RFP processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a Matrix organisation
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa
- Experience working with complex, multi-user systems (cloud and/or on-premise)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (PRINCE2 or similar beneficial)
- Strong documentation and presentation skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Background in an SME environment preferred
- Degree or equivalent, with a recognised Business Analysis qualification desirable
- Willingness to work on site in Surrey at least 3 days per week
