My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Operations Manager / Team Leader to take ownership of day to day IT services and Infrastructure, leading the internal helpdesk team and working closely with the IT Director to turn strategy into practical outcomes — from service reliability and cyber resilience through to use of AI and automation.
Within this role, the IT Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- IT service delivery and operations
- Owning the day‑to‑day running of IT services across infrastructure, cloud platforms, business applications, telephony, and end‑user computing
- Being accountable for service health, capacity, and major incident escalation
- People leadership
- Day to day supervision of the Helpdesk team
- Appraisals and performance management
- Infrastructure and Cloud Platforms
- Overseeing the operational health of Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
- Ensuring systems are patched, monitored, secure, and clearly documented.
- Business systems
- Managing availability and supplier relationships for core legal systems, including Partner for Windows and NetDocuments
