IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics Developer
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics Developer to join an expanding Finance team based in Sheffield.
Taking responsibility for the development and maintenance of IBM CognosTM1/PA solutions, acting as Subject Matter Expert in this field of expertise. The successful candidate will use current industry and specialist knowledge to turn company strategy into tactical plans, undertaking continual service improvement.
Within this role, the Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics Developer will:
- Deliver and maintain IBM Cognos TM1/PA solutions.
- Support the provision of accurate and timely management information.
- Administer user permissions and system security settings.
- Work in partnership with cross functional teams and 3rd party suppliers on issue resolution, product enhancements and best practice
- Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME
- Collaborate with the wider Finance team to identify requirements and recommend solutions which support changes to firms Budgeting and Forecasting processes, and Management Reporting
- Responsibility for integration of TM1/PA with SAP and other information sources for the provision of Management information Skills, experience and characteristics
Technically, the IBM Cognos Developer will possess the following:
- Expertise in the build and maintenance of Cognos TM1/PA solutions
- A proven understanding of TM1/PA Architecture
- Proven expertise in TM1 Perspectives/Architect/Workspace and development skills, including cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules, active forms and workflows.
- Knowledge of financial planning functions and related processes
- Ideally possess accountancy qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) or possess a background in financial planning.
- Ability in the design and administration of OLAP data Cubes, turbo integrator process rules in IBM Cognos TM1 10.2/PA
- Experience with PAX and PAW
- Direct experience using Business Intelligence (BI) and Visualization reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, SAP HANA, etc.)
This role can be based anywhere in the UK with occasional travel throughout the UK.
