Capacity Manager - Wiltshire – DV cleared – £600/day (IR35)
Contract role (6 months, renewable) on site in Wiltshire, UK.
Base pay range
Up to £600 per day (inside IR35).
- Key Duties
- Own and execute the ITIL Capacity Management process, including Business, Service, and Component Capacity Management.
- Develop and maintain capacity plans, forecasts, and models for VMware environments.
- Ensure infrastructure capacity supports agreed SLAs.
- Identify capacity risks, constraints, and performance bottlenecks before they impact services.
- Produce regular capacity and utilization reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
- Support hardware refresh, expansion, and decommissioning decisions.
- Required Experience
- Strong experience managing capacity in VMware-based infrastructure.
- Experience with capacity and monitoring tools (e. g., v Realize Operations).
- Strong understanding of ITIL 4 practices and service‑lifecycle concepts.
- Experience working with Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Design processes.
- DV clearance required.
