We are recruiting a System Integration Test Manager to lead the functional testing of a newly implemented role within the manufacturing sector. This role is critical to validating that business processes are accurately supported by the ERP system, ensuring operational readiness and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and reporting on functional test activities across integrated modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and own the functional test strategy for the solution system integration, aligned with business process requirements. Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria for each functional area (e.g., procurement, production, inventory, quality, finance).
- Test Script Creation: Lead the creation of detailed functional test scripts based on business process flows and system configuration. Ensure coverage of core manufacturing industry processes, including batch tracking, shelf-life management, and traceability.
- Test Execution: Manage the execution of functional test cycles, coordinating with business users and technical teams. Monitor and document test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with ERP vendors and developers.
- Test Reporting & Governance: Provide structured reporting on test progress, defect trends, and functional readiness. Deliver executive-level dashboards and insights to project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate test walkthroughs, sign-off sessions, and feedback loops with business SMEs. Act as the functional testing authority, ensuring alignment between business expectations and system capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in functional testing of ERP systems, ideally within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they are represented in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive testing outcomes in a delivery-focused environment.
Desirable Qualifications
