Exalto consulting is currently recruiting for a contract bioinformatician for an outside IR35 contract role, 100% remote working paying £450 per day depending on experience. essential skills: • PhD/Masters degree in bioinformatics, data/computer science or related field • >3 years experience in applied bioinformatics and Illumina NGS omics data • Hands on-experience with DNASeq analysis pipelines from BCL/FASTQ to VCF • Experience with CNV calling from WGS/ WES • Experience with somatic variant calling in an Oncology context • Strong programming skills with Python (and/or R) and bash scripting/Linux • Experience with benchmarking bioinformatics tools • Experience with cloud computing and ideally AWS • Experience with github and version control • Pipelining experience with Nextflow or equivalents 100% remote working contract role pay £450 per day.
