My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Analyst with proven expertise working within the professional services sector. As IT Support Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the firms IT systems. Acting as a first point of contact for technical issues, you'll provide 1st and 2nd line support to colleagues across 2 Yorkshire based offices. You will work in a hands-on capacity supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management tools. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in AI and automation initiatives.
Within this role, the IT Support Analyst will:
- Provide responsive 1st and 2nd line IT support, managing incidents and service requests via the helpdesk system
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Assist with user account administration in Microsoft Entra ID and device management via Intune
- Monitor and support infrastructure across on-premise and Azure environments
- Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment allocation
- Liaise with third-party providers and escalate issues where necessary
- Support cyber security processes and compliance requirements, including Cyber Essentials Plus
- Contribute to AI adoption and automation projects such as Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Maintain accurate documentation and suggest continuous improvements to IT services
Technically, the Infrastructure Support Analyst will possess the following:
- Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory administration
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions
- Solid understanding of Windows 11 and end-user device support
- Basic knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused, empathetic approach
- A collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Good understanding of cyber security principles
- Experience with Halo ITSM or similar service desk tools
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience with legal systems such as Partner for Windows or NetDocuments
- Interest in AI tools and automation (e.g., Copilot, Power Automate)
