Exalto consulting is currently recruiting for a contract bioinformatician for an outside IR35 contract role, 100% remote working paying £300-360 per day depending on experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of applied experience in bioinformatics data analysis
- Experience in using and analysing Illumina NGS data
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and platforms, especially for handling copy number variation and whole genome sequencing data
- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and script development
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably Amazon AWS
- Demonstrated ability to automate data processing and productionize analytical workflows
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in accuracy and reproducibility analysis of biomarkers
- Experience with processing biomarkers from NGS, such as Small Variants, Copy Number Variants and Structural Variants
- Illumina NGS Data experience is essential
- Desirable is - Illumina Dragen
